Job Summary
The Midwifery Director oversees the professional midwifery staff and assures delivery of quality services to all midwifery patients. In collaboration with our CCO, this person develops and reviews midwifery practice guidelines and protocols. The Midwifery Director sets the example for the midwifery team of providing outstanding, relationship-based care to patients, and authentic communication and support of colleagues. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative manager and able to establish positive relationships with local medical professionals and institutions.

Patient Care and Oversight
● Oversee and ensure effective, efficient, safe operation of the center and respond to the

● Review, revise, and approve CHOICES standard medical operating procedures and
protocols as needed.
● Monitor, coach, develop, and evaluate performance of direct reports on an ongoing basis in

● Interview and evaluate medical needs of CHOICES’ patients; provide medical services and
treatment to such patients if such services are in the medical best interests of the patient

● Generate and complete adequate, legible, and proper medical and other records in form
and content consistent with the policies and procedures of CHOICES and by applicable

● Participating in telephone call-coverage programs CHOICES may implement to satisfy

weekends and holidays.

solving to ensure excellent care delivery for patients.
